How to play Suomi Sniper

The goal

A stealth sniper game set in the Finnish Winter War.

Controls

• Clicking locks the mouse so the cursor can't reach the edge of the window, but

• aiming works without it — you only need to lock if the edge gets in the way.

• On the menu, 1–4 pick a map directly. On a phone, the controls appear only

• during a sortie; the menu uses the same touch cards, and the game is playable in

• both orientations (landscape gives the wider view).

• Shift does whichever job fits the moment. Standing still, it's a held

• breath: the sway flattens and stamina drains. Moving, it's a sprint: much faster,

• much louder, and it empties your breath quickly.

What Suomi Sniper tells you to do

• “The river is frozen to its bones and the patrol road is quiet. Your line is the last one north of the lake. Hold it, and count your rounds.”

• “Open ice, no cover for a kilometre, and wind that erases your tracks in seconds — theirs too. Out here you shoot once, then you move.”

• “Open ridgelines, hard sun, long shots”

Scoring and the leaderboard

Players are ranked by Enemies down (highest first). If two players tie, Columns stopped (highest first) decides it. Only your best run counts. Sign in with start.ng to save yours.
