What is Ayo?
Ayo is also called Ayo Olopon or Oware. It is the seed game from Yoruba land and across West Africa. This version is by Hamzat and is for two players.
How it plays
- Pick a pit and its seeds are sown counter-clockwise.
- End on 2 or 3 in a pit of theirs to capture it.
- First to 25 wins.
- Play a friend with a link, find a match, or play the bot.
Good to know
- You need to be signed in with start.ng, so your game is kept if you drop out.
- The server keeps the seeds and checks every move.
- This is the 2-or-3 capture version. There are other ways of playing ayo.
